学校概况

扬州大学坐落于国家首批历史文化名城扬州，是江苏省人民政府和教育部、农业农村部“双省部共建”高校，省属重点综合性大学，江苏高水平大学建设高峰计划A类建设高校，全国首批博硕士学位授予单位，全国率先进行合并办学的高校。

学校拥有哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、医学、管理学、艺术学、交叉学科等13大学科门类。一级学科博、硕士学位授权点分别为21个、50个，博士专业学位类别3个，硕士专业学位类别34个，博士后流动站22个；国家级一流本科专业建设点41个，一流本科课程39门。普通全日制本科生3.38万人，博、硕士研究生1.59万人、海外学生2400多人。

学校现有专任教师2900多人，其中自主培养的中国工程院院士2人，外籍院士3人，国家级人才115人次。现有国家级重点学科（含培育）3个，省优势学科10个，“十四五”省一级学科重点学科10个。农业科学学科进入ESI全球排名前1‰，化学、植物与动物科学、工程学、农业科学、临床医学、材料科学、计算机科学、生物学与生物化学、药理学与毒理学、环境生态学、微生物学、分子生物学与遗传学等12个学科位居ESI全球前1%。拥有国际合作联合实验室1个，教育部区域国别研究中心（备案名单）1个，部省级重点（建设）实验室（研究中心、协同创新中心）104个，国家技术转移示范机构、国家级科技特派员创业培训基地、国家大学科技园各1个。目前承担科研项目3800多项，年科技总经费11.9亿多元，荣获国家科学技术奖二等奖17项，实现了自然科学奖、技术发明奖、科技进步奖“全覆盖”。

学校连续5年获评江苏省属高校高质量发展综合考核第一等次，位居软科世界大学学术排名前400名，泰晤士高等教育世界大学内地上榜高校第37名，武书连中国大学排行第62名，校友会中国大学排名第66名，综合实力稳居全国高校百强并持续攀升。

论坛简介

扬州大学国际青年学者论坛发起于2017年，旨在为海内外优秀青年学者搭建学术交流和成果展示平台。截至目前已连续成功举办十届论坛，共遴选邀请了20多个国家1000余名海内外优秀青年学者参会交流，已成为学校与海内外优秀青年人才合作交流的重要渠道。

扬州大学第十一届国际青年学者论坛拟于2024年11月22日至24日举行。论坛拟采用线上线下相结合的方式召开，让优秀青年学者相聚扬大，追踪学术前沿，探索学术真理，共攀学术高峰，在引发思维碰撞、增进学术交流的同时，让更多年轻的有识之士感受扬州大学“坚苦自立”的校训和“求是、求实、求新、求精”的校风，为今后深化合作交流、加盟学校奠定坚实的基础。

邀请对象

年龄一般在40周岁以下（35周岁及以下优先），在海内外知名高校获得博士学位（世界排名前200高校优先），或海内外知名高校或科研院所助理教授（或相当职务）及以上，在所从事领域取得突出学术成就的高层次人才。

申请流程

（一）符合条件的青年学者请下载并填写《扬州大学第11届国际青年学者论坛报名表》,表格下载地址：见附件。

（二）报名表请发至邮箱rscrcb@yzu.edu.cn。报名截止时间为 10月31日。

（三）学校审核后，将分批向受邀学者发送正式邀请函（ 最迟为11月8日）。

（四）受邀学者收到邀请函 3天内填写回执并确认是否参会。

时间安排

11月22日（星期五）：报到；

11月23日（星期六）：开幕式、主论坛，分论坛；

11月24日（星期日）：离会。

交通及食宿

受邀学者收到正式邮件邀请函后自订机票或车票，我校按经济舱的标准予以实报实销往返机票或车票（报销的最高限额如下：欧美等地1.5万元/人，亚洲国家1万元/人、中国大陆及港澳台地区0.5万元/人）。

论坛期间，学校统一安排食宿以及接送服务。

人才待遇

（一）依托我校申报并入选国家级青年人才工程项目者

1. 岗位：事业编制、教授、博士生导师（每年3个以上博硕士生招生指标，博士后招聘不限额）。

2. 薪酬：根据协商聘期任务可享受不低于70万元（人民币，税前，下同）的年薪，另加业绩绩效的待遇，上不封顶（不含国家补贴）；同时，除国家奖励（津贴）外，江苏省和学校还将给予相应的配套奖金。

3. 住房：学校提供购房补贴及安家费150万元，引进三年内提供校内周转房一套或提供相应的租房补贴。

4. 科研经费：除享受国家政策补贴外，学校提供相应科研启动经费，其中，自然科学类350万元，人文社科类115万元。

5. 人才工程：依托我校申报并入选国家级人才工程项目，可优先推荐申报江苏省和扬州市相关人才项目，形成待遇叠加效应。

6. 其他：提供所需科研用房，自主组建科研团队；协助解决配偶工作及子女入学，提供附属医院便捷就医条件。

（二）入选江苏省人才项目者

1.江苏特聘教授：事业编制。 除享受学校相应的待遇外，三年内省级财政给予每人每年不低于12万元的岗位津贴（免税），并提供100-200万元（特别优秀的提供400万元）的科研经费，优先解决科研用房和团队建设，协助解决配偶工作及子女入学。

2.双创计划：除享受学校相应的待遇外，入选双创人才的，三年内省级财政给予50-500万元的创新创业资金资助；入选双创团队的，三年内省级财政给予300-800万元的人才经费资助；入选双创博士的，两年内省财政给予19.2万元的生活补助（免税）。

（三）入职学校者

1. 拔尖人才：事业编制。根据协商聘期任务可享受人民币75-125万元待遇（含购房补贴、安家费），并提供15-120万元科研启动费。优先解决科研用房和团队建设，协助解决配偶工作及子女入学。

2. 海内外优秀博士：事业编制。根据协商聘期任务可享受人民币42-55万元待遇（含购房补贴、安家费），并提供8-15万元科研启动费。

3. 博士后：规定的在站期间可享受人民币25-30万元待遇，外籍博士后待遇根据协议执行。可申报各级各类博士后资助项目，入选后与工资待遇叠加发放。

Introduction of Yangzhou University

Located in Yangzhou (one of the first-batch nationally famous historical and cultural Cities in China), Yangzhou University (YZU) is co-sponsored by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China. YZU is also a key provincial comprehensive university of Jiangsu Province, and one of the first higher education institutions authorized to grant both master’s and doctoral degrees in China, as well as a pioneer in college and university merging.

YZU has a complete range of disciplines, covering 13 disciplines of philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management science, art and interdiscipline. It also has 21 doctoral degree programs and 50 master’s degree programs in the first-level disciplines. There are 3 doctoral degree categories, 34 master's degree categories and 22 postdoctoral research centers in YZU. Meanwhile, 41 YZU undergraduate programs have been listed as national first-class undergraduate programs. Additionally, it has 39 national first-class undergraduate courses. Currently, there are over 33,800 full-time undergraduate students, more than 15,900 postgraduate students and 2,400 overseas students on YZU campuses.

Among the 2,900 full-time faculty members, there are two academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and two foreign academicians, and over 111 recipients of national talent projects. It has 3 national key disciplines, 10 provincial leading disciplines and 10 provincial key disciplines. Agricultural science discipline have entered ESI’s top 1‰, and 12 disciplines, namely chemistry, plant and animal sciences, engineering, agricultural sciences, clinical medicine, material science, computer science, biology and biochemistry, pharmacology and toxicology, environmental ecology, microbiology, molecular biology and genetics have entered ESI’s top 1% among worldwide universities and research institutes. It has one Joint International Laboratory of the Ministry of Education of China, one Research Center for Regional and Cross-nation Studies of the Ministry of Education of China, 104 key laboratories, research centers, collaborative innovation centers which are of ministerial or provincial level, one national demonstration organization of technology transfer, one national entrepreneurship training base for science and technology commissioners，and one national university science park. YZU undertakes over 3,800 research projects and its annual research funding totals over RMB 1.19 billion yuan. To date, YZU’s 17 research achievements have won second prizes of the State Science and Technology Award of China. It has achieved "full coverage" of natural science awards, technological invention awards and scientific and technological progress awards.

YZU has been ranked first in the comprehensive assessment of high-quality development of Jiangsu provincial universities for five consecutive years, ranking in the top 400 academic rankings of soft science world universities, 37th on the list of universities in the Chinese mainland by Times Higher Education World University, 62nd on the list of Chinese universities by Wushulian, and 66th on the list of Chinese universities by alumni association. Its comprehensive strength has steadily ranked among the top 100 universities in China and continues to climb.

Introduction to the Forum

Initiated in 2017, Yangzhou University International Young Scholars Forum aims to establish a platform for talented young scholars from all around the world to promote academic communications and demonstrate research achievements. Ten such forums had been held successfully and more than 1，000 outstanding young scholars from over 20 countries participated in the previous forums. The Forum plays a key role in exchanges and cooperation between Yangzhou University and talented young scholars from all around the world.

The 11thYangzhou University International Young Scholars Forum will be held by Yangzhou University on 22-24November2024. The forum will be held in a combination of both online and offline. While triggering collision of thoughts and enhancing academic communications, the Forum helps young scholars to feel the spirit of exploration embodied in YZU’s motto of “hard work and self-reliance” and its ethos of “seeking truth, seeking reality, seeking innovation and seeking refinement”, thus facilitating potential cooperation and employment.

Applicants

The eligible applicants generally should be under 40 years old (35 years old and under is preferred, with outstanding academic achievements in their fields) with a doctorate from well-known universities (preferably Top 200 universities in the world) or those who are assistant professors (or equivalent positions) and above, in well-known universities or research institutes.

Application Procedure

1. Download and fill in the Application Form for the 11thYangzhou University International Young Scholars Forum(please refer to the attachment).

2. Submit your application by sending the filled Application Form to rscrcb@yzu.edu.cnbefore 31October2024.

3. Receive a formal invitation after an online interview before 8November2024.

4. Fill in the receipt and confirm the attendance within three daysupon receiving theformal invitation.

Forum Program

22 November, 2024: Registration;

23 November, 2024: Opening Ceremony, Plenary Session, Parallel Sessions;

24 November, 2024: Departure.

Transportation and Accommodation

Invited scholars are supposed to book their own tickets and we will make actual reimbursement according to the standard of economy class (maximum amount: RMB 15,000 yuan per capita for participants traveling from North America or Europe, RMB 10,000 yuan per capita for participants traveling from Asian countries, RMB 5,000 yuan per capita for participants traveling from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan).

During the Forum, accommodation and pick-up services will be arranged by YZU.

Remuneration

7.1Recipients of major national young talent projectsrecommended byYangzhou University

7.1.1 Position

Posts budgeted in public institution, professor, doctoral supervisor (eligible to enroll at least three postgraduate students per year while no limit set on the quota for postdoctoral research fellow recruitment).

7.1.2Salary

According to the negotiated tasks during the employment, annual salary will be no less than RMB 700,000 yuan (before tax) plus performance bonuses (excluding national subsidies) which has no upper limit. Additionally, besides national rewards (subsidies), matching bonuses will be granted by the People’s government of Jiangsu and Yangzhou University.

7.1.3 Housing

The University will provide a total of RMB 1.5 million yuan as house purchase subsidy and resettlement allowance. Within the first three years of employment, the University will provide an on-campus apartment as temporary housing, or an equivalent rental subsidies.

7.1.4 Funding

Besides national subsidies and funding, the university will provide a research start-up fund for natural sciences RMB 3.5 million yuan, and for humanities and social sciences RMB 1.15 million yuan.

7.1.5 Talent Projects

To create the synergistic effects of talent policies, recipients of major national talent projects recommended by Yangzhou University will be given priority to applying for talent projects of Jiangsu Province and Yangzhou City.

7.1.6 OtherBenefits

Necessary research workspace and autonomy to establish research teams will be provided. The University will assist in finding a job for the spouse, the registration at kindergarten and primary school for younger children and admission to secondary school for older children. Convenient access to affiliated hospitals will be granted.

7.2Recipients of talent projects of Jiangsu Province

7.2.1 Distinguished Professorof Jiangsu

A recipient of Distinguished Professor of Jiangsu will be employed in posts budgeted in public institution. Besides the University’s relevant remuneration, an annual post allowance of no less than RMB 120,000 yuan (in three years; tax free) and a research fund of RMB 1-2 million yuan (up to RMB 4 million yuan for exceptionally excellent candidates) will be provided by the provincial government of Jiangsu. The University will give priority in lab space and research team building, and will assist in finding a job for the spouse, the registration at kindergarten and primary school for younger children and admission to secondary school for older children.

7.2.2 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talentsof Jiangsu Province

Besides the University’s relevant remuneration, a start-up fund of RMB 0.5-5 million yuan will be provided (in three years) to recipients of individual grants of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents of Jiangsu Province by the provincial government of Jiangsu, a start-up fund of RMB 3-8 million yuan (in three years) to recipients of team grants of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents of Jiangsu Province, and RMB 192,000 yuan living allowance (tax exemption) from provincial finance with in two years.

7.3Candidatessuccessfullyrecruited byYangzhou University

7.3.1 Outstanding Talents

According to the negotiated tasks during the employment, RMB 0.75-1.25 million yuan（including housing subsidies, settling expenses,the university will provide 0.15-1.2million yuan for research start-up fund. The University will provide priority in lab space and research team building, and will assist in finding a job for the spouse, the registration at kindergarten and primary school for younger children and admission to secondary school for older children.

7.3.2 ExcellentPh.D. Holders

According to the negotiated tasks during the employment, RMB 420,000-550,000 yuan（including housing subsidies, settling expenses）, the university will provide RMB 80,000-150,000 yuan for research start-up fund.

7.3.3 PostdoctoralResearch Fellows

According to the negotiated tasks during the employment, RMB 250,000-300,000 yuan may be provided. Foreign postdoctoral fellows will be implemented according to the agreement. You can apply for postdoctoral funding projects at all levels and types, and will be paid in conjunction with salary and benefits upon selection.
